ID:	28701In a move thought to be a 'first' for the buying group sector, MiVetClub has linked up with recruitment specialist Pet Medic Recruitment to offer preferred rates for the recruitment of locum and permanent veterinary staff to its members.

MiVetClub was launched in late 2013 by CVS (UK) Ltd to enable independently-owned practices to benefit from the knowledge, experience and strength of the 100+ practices and other veterinary businesses with the company. Pet Medic Recruitment, also owned by CVS, is one of the UK's leading veterinary recruitment agencies, specialising in the provision of locum and permanent staff.

Commenting on the partnership with Pet Medic Recruitment, Sara Armitage, Director of Product and Buying at CVS, said: "With the buying group market already crowded, we launched MiVetClub with the clear aim of doing things differently. Discounted products are a given of course but what we feel is equally important is to offer our members affordable access to the services and expertise that will help them raise clinical standards and run more successful businesses.

"As an example of this, with the recruitment of locum or permanent staff a perennial - and expensive - headache for practices, we can now offer members the service of our expert team at Pet Medic Recruitment at a significantly discounted rate."

Emma Hammond, Manager of Pet Medic Recruitment, added: "Recruiting the right staff for a practice is so important but the process is time-consuming and can be costly, especially if it goes wrong. Our highly experienced team manages the process from start to finish, enabling the practice team to spend more time doing what they do best - caring for their patients! We're looking forward to working with MiVetClub members in the months ahead and helping them with their recruitment needs."
