Daren Hanshaw BSc, BVMS (Hons), Dipl ACVP, MRVCS, a veterinary anatomic pathologist, has rejoined veterinary laboratory Finn Pathologists, following five years back in his native Australia. During this time, he passed the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) Board Examinations and, as a registered specialist, expanded his expertise to include clinical pathology interpretation and production animal disease investigation.

Daren Hanshaw qualified from Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia in 1987, owned a practice for several years then worked at Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital's direct access clinic. In 2005, he sold his practice and moved to the USA to undertake an anatomic pathology residency at the University of Florida. In 2006, he joined Finn Pathologists, based in Weybread, Suffolk, as part of its in-house resident training programme.

He returned to Australia in 2009 to undertake the ACVP examinations and has now rejoined Finn Pathologists as a veterinary anatomic pathologist with a particular interest in dermatopathology and oncology, including lymphoid and histiocytic disorders.
